WCS Healthcare has an immediate opening for an experienced Registered Nurse for Regional Nursing Supervisor position at social service facility. We are seeking for passionate nurse who has over five years of experience in supervisory role and background in support the developmentally disabled population. This leadership opportunity will include responsibilities such as managing nursing activities, collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and anticipates changes in schedule/caseload to prioritize critical health emergencies.

Job Function:

• Managing RN + LPNs nursing activities, scheduling, training, and performance evals


• Anticipate changes in schedule + caseload to assist the division w/ critical health events


• Report any nursing gaps in services + deficits immediately to Director of Nursing Services + SVP of DD Health and Clinical Services


• Develop and revise PONS (Plan of Nursing Services) for any individual who requires nursing care


• Monitor Pharmacy and Nutritional Services


• Conducts internal auditing independently through chart and precision care reviews


• Follow-ups individuals hospital admission and discharge from hospital/rehab

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree


• NYS RN Licensure


• Minimum 5 yrs of RN working w/ I/DD population + 5 yrs nursing clinical exp


• Minimum 5 yrs of nursing supervisory exp and demonstrate high energy in mobilizing nursing team


• Handles unexpected situations by responding effectively to challenges, deadlines and emergencies
