Voice Engineer
Are you ready to help move us forward? UTA is looking for a Voice Engineer!
Primarily responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and repair of our servers, voice, and related video communication systems and networks including call centers and control centers. Provides technical support for the voice network, circuits, and Enterprise Unified Communications with related voice and video systems.
Pay Range: $79,000+/yr (depends on experience)
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field related to computer hardware, software, or information systems.
- Preferred IT-related professional certifications such as but not limited to:
- CCIE Collaboration certification (or similar)
- CompTIA A+
- CompTIA Network+
- CompTIA Linux+
- CompTIA Security+
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- Eight years of directly related work experience with Enterprise Unified Communications including, but not limited to:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM)
- Cisco Unity Connection (CUC)
- Cisco Unified Contact Center (UCCX)
- Cisco Emergency Responder (CER)
- Eight years experience with telecommunication carriers, associated circuits IE, PRI’s, Analog, and SIP provisioning.
- Eight years experience with Call Routing, SIP, Qos, VOIP, and TCP/IP.
- Four years of directly related work experience administering virtual servers such as VMWare ESX.
- Experience with copper cross connects, 66 blocks, and 110 blocks.
- Experience with low-voltage infrastructure cabling.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Experience managing, integrating, and supporting 3rd party platforms.
