Key Responsibilities
Visual Merchandising Execution
Implement Brighton’s visual merchandising standards and seasonal directives to create inspiring and consistent store presentations.
Ensure product placement, storytelling, and displays maximize sales opportunities and align with brand identity.
Refresh store layouts and product focal points to reflect promotions, holidays, and trends while maintaining a customer-friendly flow.
Troubleshoot and adjust displays based on store-specific performance insights.
Dallas Showroom Management
Oversee the Dallas Showroom, ensuring it is visually aligned with Brighton’s brand vision and current merchandising directives.
Prepare and maintain the showroom for markets (e.g., Dallas Market and support other markets), creating a visually stunning, organized, and functional space that highlights product categories and key seasonal collections.
Collaborate with corporate teams and sales leaders to align showroom displays with company priorities, product launches, and sales goals.
Manage showroom inventory and coordinate the timely setup, breakdown, and refresh for market events.
Act as a host during market visits, providing a welcoming and professional environment for retailers, buyers, and internal stakeholders.
Collaboration and Training
Partner with store teams to develop an understanding of Brighton’s visual merchandising guidelines and principles.
Provide on-site training and coaching to store teams to build long-term merchandising capabilities.
Collaborate with Brighton corporate teams and Regional Sales Managers to align merchandising initiatives with sales goals.
Sales and Performance
Analyze store sales and customer behavior to make informed recommendations on visual strategies that drive revenue.
Identify key products, underperforming categories, and opportunities for visual improvement.
Contribute to achieving sales growth targets by aligning merchandising with local customer needs and trends.
Relationship Management
Develop strong, positive relationships with retail partners, store owners, and internal stakeholders.
Serve as a brand ambassador, embodying Brighton’s commitment to excellence, quality, and customer experience.
Provide feedback to the corporate team on successes, challenges, and opportunities in the field.
Travel and Reporting
Maintain a regular travel schedule to ensure consistent support across stores within the territory.
Provide post-visit reports, including photos, recommendations, and measurable results of merchandising improvements.
Manage expenses and adhere to company travel policies.
Qualifications
Experience: 2–5 years of visual merchandising experience in retail; prior experience in field-based roles is a plus.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Retail, Design, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Skills:
Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and retail environments.
Ability to analyze sales trends and apply insights to visual strategy.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to train and inspire teams to maintain merchandising standards.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with reporting tools.
Requirements:
Ability to travel 70-80% of the time within the assigned territory.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in-store environments.
