Position Summary: South County Health is seeking a creative and skilled Video Content Producer who will focus on creating video content that tells compelling patient stories, explains healthcare services, and supports clinical guides. This full-time position will collaborate with various departments to produce high-quality video content for digital and social media platforms, marketing campaigns, patient education, and staff engagement initiatives. The Video Content Producer will report to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Conceptualize, film, edit, and produce engaging video content, including patient testimonials, educational guides, healthcare service highlights, and promotional videos that capture the South County Health experience.
Collaboration & Coordination: Partner with clinical teams, marketing staff, and administrators to ensure video content aligns with South County Health's mission and supports the broader goals of patient engagement, awareness, and trust-building.
Brand Consistency: Maintain a cohesive visual style and tone across all video content, ensuring consistency with South County Health's brand identity.
Social Media Management: Produce content specifically designed for South County Health’s social media platforms to increase community engagement and awareness about healthcare services.
Project Management: Plan, organize, and execute video shoots with a high degree of efficiency, coordinating with staff and patients to capture authentic, informative, and inspiring content.
Team Development: Recruit, train, and oversee interns to support video production needs.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Engage with various departments to develop content that meets both internal and external communications needs.
Digital Asset Management: Organize and archive video assets for easy access and future use.
Community Engagement: Develop relationships with community partners, patients, and stakeholders to expand storytelling opportunities and ensure accurate representation of South County Health's values and impact.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in video production, media studies, communications, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in video production, with expertise in shooting, editing, and content creation across digital platforms.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in non-linear video editing software (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and advanced knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).
Production Skills: Experience with DSLR and cinema-style cameras, lighting, and sound for high-quality video content.
Digital & Social Media Expertise: Strong understanding of social media trends and best practices, particularly in healthcare or a similar service-oriented field.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with diverse teams.
Interpersonal Skills: A proactive and resourceful individual who can manage multiple projects, work well under tight deadlines, and adapt to a dynamic healthcare environment.
