Vice President Operations - Oakland, KY at Clark Beverage Group

Summary/Objective
The Vice President Operations leads the people and execution of all initiatives in the Operations unit at Clark Beverage Company, Inc. This role works closely with the VP of Sales and the VP of General Managers to ensure the best in-class service for customers and employees and to set the overall strategic initiatives for the operating units to include transportation, warehouse, and supply chain.

Essential Functions

• Lead department directors and other personnel in daily operations.
• Creates, implements, and communicates the organization's operations division's strategic direction.  
• Provides experience and advice on operations initiatives and systems while collaborating with executive leadership to define and meet corporate goals.  
• To achieve the organization's aims and objectives, collaborates with other divisions and departments.  
• Identifies, recommends, and implements innovative procedures, technologies, and systems to optimize and streamline organizational operations and resource and material use.
• Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans for staffing, development, organization, and facilities are consistent with the organization's business plan and vision.  
• To ensure effective and consistent support and execution, establishes, communicates, and executes operations-related policies, practices, standards, and security measures.
• Examines and approves cost-control reports, cost projections, and project staffing needs.  
• Establishes and manages the budget for the department.

This position requires exposure to all seasonal weather conditions, traffic noise, automotive fumes and cramped quarters.

Travel
30% travel expected for this role including overnight travel

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Education and Experience

• 5-7 Years experience in a senior level role within operations
• Bottling company experience preferred
