Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee the company business development function (MOS).
- Appoint and work with department managers and corporate staff to develop five-year business plans (STRAP).
- Analyze operations and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Establish, implement and direct objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Track the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) execution.
- Identify, coordinate and develop new business opportunities and channels to increase sales revenue and drive strategic growth initiatives.
- Identify and develop new customers for products and services.
- Oversee and drive key objectives and alignment between potential partners.
- Develop and manage a strong team of Business Development professionals.
- Oversee company offerings promotion plan.
- Manage sales budget.
- Recruitment and hiring sales leaders.
- Communicate and foster relationships with key clients.
- Own solutions roadmap.
- Drive internal and external stakeholders’ partnership on the solution's vision and strategy.
- Define go-to-market plans.
- Oversee marketing events and launches.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Air Traffic Management.
- Bachelor of Science in Economics.
- Minimum of 10 years of related aviation experience in multiple fields, including flight dispatch and air traffic control.
- Minimum of 10 years of product development experience for all aviation industry verticals.
- Must have 5 years of experience working for a Fortune 100 company AND for a start-up.
- Must have professional licenses granted by FAA (US) AND by a European Air Navigation Service Provider.
- Must have deep knowledge of the aviation industry standards and recommended practices (ICAO, FAA, Eurocontrol)
- Must have outstanding knowledge of the Airlines, Business, and General Aviation operational requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of NPI strategies.
- Proven previous experience in P&L management for industry-critical products or services.
- Oversee the O&M and R&D funding allocation
- Previous experience as a PM of minimum $15M budget projects.
- Solid experience in Sales (domestic and international) in all aviation market verticals
- Extensive product marketing expertise.
Salary
up to 389,126 /year
