As a full-time team member, you’ll provide comprehensive care, from wellness exams and vaccinations to advanced diagnostics and treatments, all supported by the latest veterinary technology. Our clinic is equipped to offer in-depth diagnostics and treatment plans tailored to each pet’s needs, allowing you to deliver a higher level of care and stay at the forefront of modern veterinary medicine. Key Responsibilities (Including but Not Limited To):
- Performing thorough and comprehensive physical exams with a focus on minimizing stress for the pet.
- Communicate with clarity and empathy to pet owners throughout the exam, explaining findings and recommendations.
- Administering vaccinations and providing preventive care.
- Utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and technology, including imaging and lab equipment, to deliver high-quality care.
- Leveraging our AI-powered system to document examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and client interactions efficiently.
- Conducting in-house diagnostics and sample collections as needed, with the capability to perform more advanced diagnostic tests.
- Collaborating with the medical team to develop and execute treatment plans tailored to each pet's needs.
- Following up with pet owners on results of any external diagnostic tests, providing support and guidance on next steps.
Experience and Preferred Skills:
- Educational Background: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution, with a valid veterinary license to practice in the state.
- Practical Experience: 1+ years of hands-on experience in veterinary care, with proficiency in safe and compassionate animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Technical Skills: Comfort and proficiency with computer systems and online tools, including use of technology for documentation and diagnostics.
- Workplace Abilities: Able to thrive in a well-supported environment that values attention to detail, with flexibility for both weekday and weekend shifts.
- Communication and Teamwork: Exceptional listening skills and proactive problem-solving abilities, paired with strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.
- Passion for Veterinary Medicine: A genuine commitment to pet health and well-being, with a dedication to continuous learning and professional development in veterinary care.
