About the Job
Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience within the hospitality industry, or experience working in a similar role focused on customer or sales support.
Basic knowledge of catering, event coordination and operations.
General interest in food, menu design, and creative event development.
Experience in working in a computer environment utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required, experience with Caterease BEO software is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
There may be prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
On event days, this position will frequently move and carry equipment throughout the venue
Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.

Work Environment
This position may consist of in office work; computer work in a cubicle, speaking to clients on the phone, inter-departmental meetings, and assisting with pre-event logistics as needed. Much of this role will be assisting at events, attending walk throughs, running errands, and assisting Sales Executive and Hospitality team on the go as needed. This position may be in and out of kitchen and cooler spaces.
Physical Demands:
Long periods of office work
Periods of moving through an event space, and traveling between venue to venue
Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 25 lbs.
Position Salary & Benefits:
The starting pay rate for this role is $20/hour.
This position requires a flexible schedule, starting off as part-time with the opportunity to transition into full-time.
Scheduling will depend on business needs
