Vascular Technologist - RVT

Pay From: $40 per hour
MUST:
The Vascular Technologist will have experience:
Registered Vascular Technologist Certification (RVT)
Certificate, Associates, or bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Experience troubleshooting ultrasound equipment
DUTIES:
Responsible for the schedule of all technologist
Oversee multiple locations to ensure the level of patient care is up to standards
Hire and train all new technologists
Perform vascular ultrasonic procedures as directed by physicians
Present images and preliminary findings to physicians and the healthcare team
Scheduling patients for procedures
Explaining procedures to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results
Positioning patients and selecting the appropriate transducer
Conducting scanning procedures using ultrasound equipment by moving scanner over specified body area and adjusting equipment to focus
Performs exams properly and in a timely manner
Takes patient history and retrieves previous files
Coordinates patient flow and checks daily list to ensure all exams are complete
Traveling to additional locations as needed
