Position Summary: The Kenjya-Trusant Group, LLC is seeking a Network Evaluator to support our customer in the San Antonio, Texas. Essential Job Functions: * Support for Strategic Cybersecurity Program (SCP) Evaluations, specifically US Weapons, Space, and IT system assessments and/or remediation activities.
* Contribute to evaluating operational or developmental networks and systems of US gov and mil customers for vulnerabilities, advise customers on mitigations, and produce evaluation reports.
* Conduct computer network defense: Analyze computer network characteristics to identify computer network vulnerabilities.
* Develop hardware and software tools: Design deployment and vulnerability analysis methods based on current operational or anticipated trends.
* Perform system security and information assurance: Conduct security evaluations of hardware or software components or architectures.
* Plan missions: Review Information Needs (INs) to understand operational, tactical or strategic mission requirements.
* Conduct computer/network security: Identify vulnerabilities to attack communications networks and systems and developing countermeasures.
* Use digital forensics: Use forensic exploitation techniques and tools (e.g., Encase) used to gather information on information systems and computer networks.
* Conduct exploitation and analysis: Utilize methods and tools used for exploitation and analysis of computer system and network vulnerabilities.
* Use platforms/operating systems: Be aware of the theoretical compatibility of operating systems. * Conduct vulnerability discovery: Evaluate a system to test its security features and/or identify its vulnerabilities working under the same constraints applied to ordinary users.
Minimum Required Qualifications: * Due to the nature of this position and the information employees will be required to access, U.S. Citizenship is required.
* A Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or a Doctoral degree and 4 years of relevant experience.
* The following may also be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position: an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience; or at least 18 semester hours of military coursework/training in networking, computer science, or cyber topics plus 10 years of relevant experience. * Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field (e.g., General Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Forensics, Cyber Security, Software Engineering, Information Assurance, or Computer Security). * Relevant experience must be working in a security domain (e.g., cyber security, network security, information system security, information assurance, and computer security), programming, systems architecture, vulnerability analysis, reverse engineering, malware analysis, protocol analysis, network analysis, software analysis, debugging, and/or using network security intrusion or computer network diagnostic software utilities (e.g., SNORT and trace-route). Microsoft Networking, Computer Network Administrator (CNA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP), Certified Ethical Hacking, and Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certifications are preferred. * Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly.
Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
