VRU/Combustion Field Service Specialist (I&E) - Solstice Consulting Group

Solstice Consulting Group is looking for a Field Service Specialist Vapor (VRU) / Combustor / Flare for our Oil & Gas Equipment client.

This role involves up to 60% travel (including overnight stays) within the region.

• Hourly pay up to $50 DOE plus OT (average 45-50 hours/week), bonus opportunities, on-call payments, company vehicle, and full benefits.
• 10+ years of oil & gas field experience, including 3+ years of recent experience with Vapor (VRU), Combustor, Compression, BMS, and Flare equipment REQUIRED.
• Experience with downstream and upstream clients REQUIRED.

The Lead Field Service Specialist will perform maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and start-ups on oil and gas production equipment. This includes open flare controls, ECDs, Burner Management systems, and Vapor Recovery Units. The role requires collaboration with the Sales team and customers to ensure satisfaction, along with necessary overtime and travel.

Role Responsibilities:

• Oversee Field Service and HSEQ compliance in your area.
• Understand applicable electrical codes.
• Perform and oversee work on Oil & Gas Production Equipment.
• Manage project workload and capacity reports for the sales team.
• Coordinate with the sales team for timely job scheduling and completion.
• Lead Field Techs in installing and maintaining burner management systems.
• Complete timecards, field tickets, and equipment transfers accurately.
• Maintain the company vehicle and ensure all maintenance is performed.
• Complete job-related safety documentation.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Oil/Gas field experience with 3+ years of recent experience in production/midstream/environmental equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and electrical trade.
• Good electrical and mechanical troubleshooting practices.
• Training/Experience in Industrial Wiring, Motor Controls, and PLCs.
• Experience with electrical motors, starters, drives, and pneumatic/electric actuators.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Must pass DOT/DISA Certifications after hire.
