- Lead develop and inspire a sales team to exceed company sales goals while spending 80% of your time in the field, connecting with healthcare professionals and building relationships with numerous sources.
- Conduct field visits with reps to provide guidance, support, and performance evaluations, ensuring continuous improvement and growth.
- Collaborate with the President of Sales and Marketing to develop quarterly and monthly plans to drive team success and achieve objectives.
- Foster a culture of excellence through regular meetings with reps to discuss performance, set improvement parameters, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Play a key role in recruiting, hiring, and managing talent within your assigned territory, ensuring we have the best team in place to drive results.
- Utilize your strategic mindset to update and refine the annual territory business plan, providing valuable feedback to senior leadership. Maintain accurate CRM data input and leverage metrics to monitor call effectiveness, presentation delivery, and market share.
- Stay informed of industry trends and client needs through customer interactions and feedback, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
- Represent our company with professionalism and integrity at all times, embodying our commitment to excellence.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with a proven track record of success. Strong leadership skills with at least 2 years of sales management or 3 years of field training supervisory experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with a complete understanding of commercial operations within an FDA regulatory environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) within the assigned territory, residing within 30 miles of a major airport.
- Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to thrive in a home-based work environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Valid state driver's license and meet company insurability requirements.
