About the Job
Our client, a leader in Bill of Materials (BOM) management solutions/PLM vendor SaaS/PaaS is seeking a General Manager to lead the business. With an aggressive growth strategy for 2025 and beyond, the company aims to transform its sales team from a renewals-based model to a solution-driven organization focused on acquiring new customers and expanding cross-sell opportunities. This pivotal role will be instrumental in driving double-digit recurring revenue growth while shaping the company’s future direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and own monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue forecasts in collaboration with sales and revenue operations teams.
- Champion value-based selling approaches to articulate the company’s unique value proposition and competitive edge.
- Lead and coach a high-performing sales team, fostering professional development and ensuring consistent overachievement of targets.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams—Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Marketing—to align product and go-to-market strategies.
- Build an engaged, high-energy team culture that promotes collaboration, accountability, and exceptional results.
- Define and track performance metrics to create a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
-Own a revenue goal of circa $10M- $50M ARR and a sales team of 12-15 across North America. with additional Marketing, Product and Engineering support.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven success in transforming sales teams to deliver consistent, double-digit revenue growth.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&L and exceeding financial targets.
- Industry expertise in electronic supply chains and a forward-looking understanding of market trends and potential disruptions.
- Hands-on experience in data analytics and insights, with familiarity working for or with companies like Supply Frame, Lexi Solutions, Part Analytics, or similar organizations.
- The ability to expand into new markets, including consumer electronics, medical, and automotive supply chains, leveraging insights into their unique challenges and opportunities.
Preferred Experience
- Deep understanding of Aerospace & Defense and High-Tech industries, with a willingness to expand the company’s reach into new verticals.
