POSITION DETAIL

With approximately $300 million in assets, Sunbelt Federal Credit Union, located in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, is recruiting for a commercial lender to serve as their Vice President of Commercial Lending. Reporting directly to the President/CEO, this individual will be responsible for solidifying the commercial lending department for the credit union.  Responsibilities will be to drive commercial loan volume by developing origination channels in the community, establishing internal processes and outlining the operational structure of the commercial lending department, and developing a business plan to grow the loan department and commercial lending portfolio.  The ideal candidate will have more than five years of commercial lending experience, a proven ability to develop a book of commercial lending business, and an understanding of commercial loan underwriting, processing, and servicing.
