Summary:Performs a variety of clerical duties related to the processing administration and closing of Commercial, and Consumer non-real estate loans.
Responsibilities
- Participation loans-processing in-coming loan entries and updating spreadsheets.
- Process in coming wires for payments/payoffs
- Process tickets for payoff
- QC and filing of scanned documentations.
- Continuations of UCC
- Ordering and Review of residential and commercial appraisals for CCLOPs.
- Perfection of all liens used for collateral. (i.e.-vehicle, boat, UCC, real estate, etc.)
- Securing of collateral
- Ensuring that all final Title insurance policies are received.
- Review and uploading of insurance policies to our insurance tracking company.
- Maintains Collateral Documentation tracking and exception report.
- Works Tracking and Exception report
- Daily Balancing Loan Advance
- Maintains procedural documentation of relevant tasks/responsibilities.
- Prioritizes work according to necessity, complexity and deadlines.
- Attend regular trainings/seminars both inside and outside the bank, as needed.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in processing customers' records and files.
- Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one-year customer service related work experience.
Experience in banking and/or loan processing is preferred.
- Customer service - providing excellent customer service to both the internal and the external customer.
- Ability to lift at least 15 pounds.
- Skill in areas related to computer operation/use - personal computers and software, including strong working knowledge and demonstrated use of spreadsheet, word processing, Internet, and banking computer software (MS Word and Excel software experience is preferred)
- Ability to pay attention to detail and to proofread documents accurately and makecorrections.
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
