About the Job
Support person for Employee Health & Infection Prevention. To assist with answering phone,
referring employees and medical personnel for testing, documenting vaccines, filing, scheduling
for fit testing, performing fit testing, swabbing as needed.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULE
M-F 8:00A - 5:00P
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
• Follows expected workflows and processes set up for the delivery of support to
employees, physicians, and department staff.
• Demonstrates positive effective communication with employees, physicians and
other healthcare team members, and professional communications skills.
• Demonstrate professionalism including current AED’s and other competencies,
following dress code policies, participation in new employee onboarding.
• Performs all duties assigned by Employee Health (COVID swabbing, fit testing,
chart processing)
• Perform all duties in accordance with established Hospital Policies and Procedures
• Additional administrative assistant duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• High School diploma required.
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• Working knowledge of computer software programs such as Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills are necessary, as well as
organizational skills. Being bilingual is highly preferred.

• Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for
clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff. The individual must use an assisted-lift
device or get another individual(s) to assist with the lift that is over these maximum
limits.
