Union Sr. Administrative Assistant - Women & Infants Hospital

Job Summary: Provides administrative support for all academic functions of the Division, such as preparing grant preparation and correspondence in final form, gathering data for statistical reports and monitoring departmental budgets. Performs secretarial functions, including screening calls and visitors, typing and filing. Provides non clinical support as needed. Duties require a thorough knowledge of Director's areas of responsibility to serve as resource for department and conduct special projects. Acts as a resource to internal and external staff regarding activities of the department.

Specifications: High school graduate with at least one year of college or business school with training in secretarial procedures. Three to five years relevant experience required; familiarity with hospital or health care procedures and background in medical terminology preferred. Must be computer literate, have excellent interpersonal, communication, and excellent secretarial skills Must be fluent in the English language.
