We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Sr to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric echocardiography and be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Department: Cardiopulmonary Labs
Start Date: As soon as possible
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Work Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Work Days: Monday to Friday, no weekends

Job Title: Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer Sr
Department: Cardiopulmonary Labs

On-Call Requirement: None
Certifications:
- Registered in Pediatric Echo preferred
- 3-5 years of dedicated pediatric echo experience (Fetal Echo experience needed)
- Will consider 2 years of experience with strong pediatric background
- Philips CVx and GE E95
- Syngo Siemens PACS reporting system
- EPIC
- 8-11 sonographers on site daily
- Perform high-quality pediatric cardiac ultrasound procedures in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare and position patients for ultrasound examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly
- Analyze ultrasound images to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret ultrasound results and provide preliminary findings
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold patient confidentiality
- Work collaboratively with other sonographers and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency in pediatric echocardiography with a focus on fetal echo
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume lab
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Registered in Pediatric Echo
- Experience using Philips CVx and GE E95 equipment
- Familiarity with Syngo Siemens PACS reporting system and EPIC EMR
- Must be comfortable with pediatric imaging and able to step in and hit the floor running
