The US Logistics Assistant Manager will be responsible for product procurement and shipping logistics for MMR projects. Meeting project deadlines, managing client’s needs; and meeting product procurement budgets while controlling costs on the projects.

Responsibilities:
Product Procurement -
- Provide quotes for product procurement to all teams as requested and oversee or complete all necessary procurement for commissioned projects.
- Keep research teams informed, (and act as direct liaison to client and FW agencies where requested) regarding timelines, product arrival, and any issues with procurement process.
- Providing advice to MMR account and management teams on issues relating to product procurement, and jumping in to solve problems and troubleshoot any procurement issues with international team members.
- Complete expense reports and reconcile charges to projects, enter quotes into the cost tool and raise PO’s as needed, and share final costs with research teams after each procurement is complete.
- Assist with departmental admin tasks as needed.
Shipping and Logistics -
- Provide guidance and quotes for any logistics requests.
- Manage the organization, packing and shipping of supplies and products for US and international fieldwork.
- Record information as required in MMR databases of what has been quoted, sourced and shipped, and process/info as required.
- Ensure that products are repacked/relabeled where relevant and shipped for projects.
- Sourcing and shelf audit visits to local stores as required to source requested products.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has 1-2 years of experience in a similar role.
Technical:
- Uses financial awareness skills to ensure budgets are maintained ensuring a sufficient profit margin.
- Develops and co-ordinates client relationships to ensure continuity of client service
- Tolerance for and the ability to handle accurately the details of paperwork and financial information associated with the job.
Behavioral:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, working to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive and a forward thinker, able to make judgements and take action.
This role will require the successful candidate to be on their feet and physically hands on. Due to this, you must be able to regularly lift or move weight comfortably.
