Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Trust & Estates Attorney to join our dynamic team.
This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging trust and estate matters.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal counsel on all aspects of trusts and estates law, including estate planning, trust administration, and probate proceedings.
- Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
- Represent clients in probate court and handle all aspects of probate administration, including the preparation of court documents, the identification and valuation of estate assets, and the resolution of estate tax issues.
- Advise clients on the tax implications of their estate planning decisions and devise strategies to minimize estate and gift taxes.
- Conduct legal research and stay abreast of developments in trusts and estates law.
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to client service.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Colorado state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of trusts and estates law, tax law, and probate court procedures.
- Exceptional drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
