Traveling Field Service Representatives (JLTV) at STS Technical Services

STS Technical Services is hiring Traveling Field Service Representatives with expertise in Joint Light Tactical Vehicles (JLTV) and High Mobility Multi-Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWV). This unique opportunity allows you to support U.S. Government and military customers worldwide, leveraging your technical skills to provide maintenance, quality inspections, warranty support, and training. Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on JLTV and HMMWV systems, including technical data, tools, and maintenance procedures.
• Deliver field service support in both short- and long-term capacities, ensuring alignment with contract requirements.
• Perform maintenance and repair services for electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical automotive systems.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex vehicle issues to ensure operational efficiency.
• Conduct quality inspections and provide detailed field service reports on program status, deficiencies, and repairs.
• Support engineering teams during testing efforts and assist in training programs for military personnel.
• Serve as a liaison between field operations and internal teams to address product concerns and improvements.
• Promote AM General’s Training and Field Service capabilities to military customers.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience:
  • Automotive vocational degree or a minimum of five years of technical automotive experience.
  • Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) experience related to JLTV and HMMWV is highly desirable (MOS 91H preferred).
• Skills & Expertise:
  • Extensive knowledge of diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and CAN BUS network theory.
  • Familiarity with JLTV and HMMWV special tools, maintenance procedures, and processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex systems with precision and efficiency.
• Other Requirements:
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
  • Valid passport and willingness to travel domestically and internationally for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and multitasking skills, with a strong attention to detail.
