About The Position

Job Title: RN - Resource/Float Pool

Shift: Night 3x12-Hours

Position Summary: 

• 13 week opening for experienced Float Pool RN. Will float to ER, ICU, or Med/Surg departments.
• It is expected that the RN can float to at least 2 departments.
• 36 hours per week, 3x12 hour shifts.
• Will work night shift with one or two other nurses and a full-time physician.
• New, clean, modern facility in rural north east Oregon. 
• Will be scheduled to work 3 - 12 hour shifts per week including every other weekend. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assesses, prescribes, delegates, coordinates, and evaluates the nursing care provided. 
• Ensures provision of quality care for selected groups of patients through utilization of nursing process, established standards of care, policies and procedures.
• He/She is responsible for the written Nursing Care Plan, acts as the patient advocate, and is responsible for the direction and supervision of any personnel assigned to him/her.
• The RN is responsible to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• Applicants should have three or more years of ER, ICU, or Med/Surg experience and the ability to come in and work with minimal direction or supervision.
• ACLS, BLS Certification
• OR State RN License
