About The Position
Job Title: Float Pool Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Emergency Room, ICU, Med-Surg Pediatrics, Med-Surg Adult, Critical Care (CCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in ER, ICU, or Med-Surg required License: Registered Nurse (RN) license Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications Must-Have: Ability and experience to work with minimal supervision across at least two departments Job Description: - The RN will float to ER, ICU, or Med/Surg departments in a clean, modern facility. - Expected to work 36 hours per week, typically consisting of three 12-hour shifts. - Collaborate with one or two other nurses and a full-time physician. - Schedule includes working every other weekend. - Responsible for assessing, prescribing, delegating, coordinating, and evaluating nursing care provided. - Develop and maintain a written Nursing Care Plan for patients. - Act as a patient advocate and provide direction and supervision to any assigned personnel. - Ensure provision of quality care in accordance with the nursing process, established standards, and policies. - Report to the Unit Nurse Manager or House Supervisor. - Holiday coverage required. - Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.
