About The Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Job Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Registered Nurse with an accredited degree from a professional nursing school Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - 2+ years of Medical/Surgical/Telemetry experience - Recent experience with Epic system within the last year - Ability to provide credentials for specified certifications at time of submission - Availability to submit Request for Time Off (RTO) of up to a maximum of 7 days Job Description: - Work in a 24-bed Med-Surg/Telemetry unit providing care for medical patients requiring telemetry monitoring. - Patient population may include progressive care level patients, with cardiovascular treatment plans involving medication drips and neurological patients requiring frequent NIH assessments. - Care for COVID-19 and other isolation patients as part of the patient population on this unit. - Maintain solid black scrubs attire. - Handle patient ratios running 1:5/6. - Required to float to other units as needed. Please note that block-scheduling requests will not be accepted.
