About The Position
**Job Title:** Staff Registered Nurse - Resource Pool Float **Job Specialty:** Neuro ICU **Job Duration:** 12 months **Shift:** 3rd Shift, Float Required **Guaranteed Hours:** 36.00 hours per week **Experience:** A minimum of 18 months of recent Medical-Surgical or Critical Care hospital nursing experience **License:** Current state Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact **Certifications:** ACLS required for Critical Care **Must-Have:** ICU experience and ACLS certification **Job Description:** - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for an identified group of patients. - Primarily work in either the Medical-Surgical or Critical Care Resource Pool. - Demonstrate competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population. - Adapt job practices from the Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice. - Possess professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice, normally acquired through a minimum of two years of education at an accredited School of Nursing.
