Contract Physical Therapist Assistant Role in Media, Pennsylvania
Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team. In this role, you will work closely with our Physical Therapists to provide hands-on care and help residents achieve their rehabilitation goals. You’ll perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assist with mobility training for a diverse group of patients.Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist in the development and execution of personalized care plans to meet patients’ rehabilitation needs.
• Accurately document progress notes and report changes in patient condition.
• Promote independence and improve the quality of life for residents.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure a supportive, respectful environment for patients and team members.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active PTA license in [State].
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.
