Job Details
- Two years of strong Tele/M/S experience
- 1 travel assignment
- Trauma level II experience
- Recent EPIC charting experience (will be required to do a checkoff class)
- Skills: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Initiate/titrate drips, PIV insertion, chest tube/indwelling drain management, CBI, stables drips, antidysrhythmic, nephrostomy tubes
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Hard worker, resilient and manages change well, social candidates.
Job Requirements
- Nights - Deaconess Midtown
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Start: 12/16 or 12/30
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 (will accept 48 upon request)
- Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
- Three weekends out of every six week schedule
- Every other holiday
Schedule Information
- Cardiac Renal Unit MS/Tele RN
- Patient Population: High acuity – Tele/M/S, Cardiac heavy
- Skillset required for Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, management of chest tubes/indwelling drains, etc.
Unit Specific Information
- 32 beds on the unit
- Ratio: Days 1:4-5; NOCs 1:5-7; CN rarely takes patients on days, but takes an assignment on NOC shift
- Unit Strengths: Excellent retention and experience on unit
- Manager has been over the unit for 15+ years and has built a strong team
- Seeking contracts due to upcoming FMLA for multiple staff
- Scrub Colors: Navy blue scrubs
