- Charge RN's have ACLS
- Experience at a larger facility with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients
- Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes
- Level 1 trauma experience required
Job Requirements
- Shifts are 12 hours, 7a-7p or 7p-7a
- Managers may accommodate block scheduling and are open to weekenders
- Every other weekend or 2 weekends per month
- Holiday rotation with regular staff
Schedule Information
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Strokes, Neurology patients
- Charge Nurse/House Supervisor both roles present
- Charge nurse takes light patient assignment, full load if needed
- RNs may be required to titrate heparin drips
- Tele/monitor techs on unit
- Nurse aids present on all units
- RT Equipment includes Cpap, BiPap, not routinely vents
Unit Specific Information
- 50 mile radius rule for travelers
- FLU VACCINE IS REQUIRED with only medical exemption allowed
- FINGERPRINT REQUIREMENT - MUST BE CLEARED PRIOR TO START
