The purpose of the Global Transversal Operations team is to provide an exciting, leading, and supportive environment for our people to maximize the value of our pipeline and bring transformative drugs with pace to patients. In North America, we support R&D teams with optimized sites and infrastructure, processes and tools, knowledge, and collaborative networks to ensure best-in-class implementation of our project strategies and maximize the engagement of our people across all our sites.
At the country level, we work in three main areas together with local R&D leaders and the Country Council: People and Culture, Ecosystem and Operations.
We are looking for a self-motivated and self-starter, collaborative change agent with a passion for technology for the position of Transversal Operations Project Coordinator. In this role, you will have an opportunity to be at the forefront of initiatives to define the future of scientific work, explore innovative collaboration tools, execute strategic workforce planning and footprint projects, and help us shape our culture centered on Purpose and Play to Win Behaviors. Highly visible, this position will allow you to connect with stakeholders across R&D areas and multiple functions, influence and gain knowledge of R&D processes, operations as well as change management strategies.
Responsibilities
Support project management efforts to support future of scientific work and strategic workforce view.
Support execution of selected site footprint initiatives from an R&D Operations standpoint.
Provide project management assistance to visioning/ strategic framework effort of initiatives for R&D NA.
Responsible for developing appropriate KPIs and measuring the success of each project and ensuring engagement and that project priorities are communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
Actively participate in the Hub Operations Team (HOT) to help identify project needs and manage the development of solutions, including technology in partnership with ITS Digital as required.
Act as a catalyst for external perspective, monitoring the external environment for best practices, insights, ways of working and tools to enable scientific collaboration and R&D processes
Actively champions the use of technology to improve processes and ways of working
Professional Skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable for teams and executive audiences.

Technical writing expertise for project related documentation. Proven background in creating business cases, charters or related documentation as part of a standard PM methodology or approach.

Technical savviness with common Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
Strong analytical, data management and data visualization skills.
Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Effective meeting facilitation skills for cross-functional technical teams.
Strong analytical skills: possess the ability to analyze problems, identify key issues, develop strategic and tactical solutions, and design metrics to measure business impact.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in business or technical discipline or/and project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
Training in PMI principals or Agile methodology
Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with familiarity of GXP principals
Experience in Change Management (ProSci)
Experience with Project Portfolio Management tools (i.e. PlanView, Compass, CA PPM or others)
