We are on the hunt for an experienced and dedicated Transactional Paralegal to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a boutique firm setting, dealing with high-profile clients and government officials, and to be part of a team that values hard work and dedication. The successful candidate will have a strong background in transactional corporate and real estate, with a proven track record of drafting corporate and real estate documents.
Responsibilities:
As a Transactional Paralegal, you will be responsible for:
1. Assisting attorneys with transactional matters, including drafting, reviewing, and revising various types of agreements, contracts, and other legal documents.
2. Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda on a wide range of corporate and real estate issues.
3. Coordinating with government officials and other stakeholders on transactional matters.
4. Managing and organizing multiple deals, maintaining deal lists, and tracking progress.
5. Assisting with due diligence investigations and preparation of closing documents.
6. Preparing and filing corporate and real estate documents, including deeds, leases, and contracts.
7. Providing general paralegal support to the legal team, including maintaining client files, scheduling meetings, and other administrative tasks.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, with a focus on transactional corporate and real estate matters.
2. Proven experience drafting and reviewing corporate and real estate documents.
3. Experience working with government officials and managing complex transactions.
4. Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
5. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
8. A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is preferred.
