What You Will Do
The Sr Training Specialist is responsible for identifying, facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating training programs that align with Panduit's strategic business objectives. Key responsibilities include:
- Employee Development
- Utilize the ADDIE Model to enhance employee skills and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, ISO, QS, TS, etc.).
- Collaborate with departments to identify training needs aligned with organizational goals.
- Implement TWI as the training standard by providing Job Instruction training and leading multidisciplinary teams for TWI implementation.
- Coach employees on job breakdowns and effective instruction techniques.
- Mentor individuals and managers using available tools and guide other learning and development professionals.
- Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation and create tailored learning plans based on job descriptions and organizational needs.
- Gain insights into manufacturing processes, offer feedback, and participate in product transfers while communicating continuous improvement initiatives.
- Leadership
- Manage small and large-scale projects to completion using project management tools.
- Mentor new training specialists in learning and development practices.
- Provide analysis and benchmarking data to support management decisions.
- Documentation
- Ensure accuracy of training records within the learning management system and assess program effectiveness.
- Coordinate internal and external training seminars globally.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team to connect with external training vendors when necessary.
- Required Degree: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years' experience writing training materials and teaching.
- 2-5 years in a mentoring capacity or leadership role.
- 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing operations and or warehouse preferred.
- Working knowledge on Process Improvement preferred.
- Experience leading small- and large-scale projects to successful completion.
- Experience conducting training effectiveness analysis using Kirkpatrick's Four Level Evaluation Model.
- eLearning development instructional design preferred.
- Experience utilizing adult learning principles.
- Highly Proficient in Learning Management System and Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional presentation skills, including presentation skills to senior leaders.
- Proficiency in Articulate or Captivate (or relevant e-Learning software).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
