This includes overseeing the performance of service technicians, implementing service procedures, optimizing customer satisfaction, and ensuring the efficient and profitable operation of the service department. Responsibilities * Manage and supervise service department staff, including technicians, service advisors, and administrative personnel. * Develop and implement strategies to optimize service department performance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. * Monitor and analyze service department metrics, such as customer satisfaction scores, technician efficiency, and departmental expenses. * Ensure effective communication and coordination within the service department and with other departments. * Oversee the scheduling and coordination of service appointments, repairs, and maintenance. * Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner. * Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technological advancements, and manufacturer recommendations to improve service department operations. Requirements * Prior experience in a leadership role within an automotive service department. * Extensive knowledge of automotive service operations, including maintenance, repairs, and customer relations. * Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. * Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team. * Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. * Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems.
