Openwork is seeking 2nd and 3rd shift machine operators. These are temp-to-hire positions for the ideal candidates. Must be willing to tour and interview before starting the position and train on 1st shift. Starting pay is anywhere from $14-15.50/hr depending on the department plus $0.75. CLIMATE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT. NO STEEL TOES.
This role may perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This includes weaving, warping, winding, coating, cutting, sewing, baling, carding, drawing, and packing. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Textile Machine Operators:
- Pay Rate: $14-15.50 depending on the department with a $0.75 weekly perfect attendance incentive to equal (in ALL departments).
- Hours: 2nd shift 3:00pm-11:00pm, 3rd shift 11pm-7am or 12:00am-8:00am depending on department.
- Must be able to train on 1st shift. Either 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm depending on the department.
Must have the following:
- Stable work history.
- Be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Able to follow instructions.
- Have a good attendance record.
- Some machinery experience is helpful but not required.
- Ear plugs are required while working.
- Reliable transportation.
Job Functions:
- Set up and operate textile machines.
- Feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated machines.
- Inspect parts with precision and measuring tools.
- Test the operation of machines periodically.
- Fix issues that might occur during the shift.
- Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws.

- The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves sitting, walking, and lifting throughout the day.
