About the Job
We have an outstanding Contract position for a Test Technician to join a leading Company located in the Vista, CA surrounding area.
Pay Range: $28 - $30
**US Citizenship is required.**
Responsibilities:
- Execute and lead manufacturing system testing
- Participate and contribute to the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
- Conduct software/firmware installation and updates
- Install operating systems (OS) on PC's
- Load system images
- Hard drive cloning
- Interface with component GUIs to configure components
- Troubleshooting of PC's and their peripherals
- PLC programming
- Assembly of computer racks, cabling, and small assemblies
- Provide manufacturing-level feedback to engineering on test plans and procedures
- Assist with work instructions development
- Complete all required manufacturing-related documentation
- Adhere to company regulatory and compliance policies
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- High school education or equivalent and minimum 5 years of business-related experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing or research and development (R&D)
- Certification in any of the following: CompTIA A+, Network + Cisco, Routers
- Will need to pass a TSR Background check post-hire
- Above average experience utilizing MS applications
