Job Title: Test Technician
Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 6 Months with Possible extension
Shift: Shift: 6:30am-3pm
Job Designation
Must Have: experience working with 100X magnification micro-electronic parts.

Job Designation
The Test Technician completes work according to instructions, specifications, and procedures. Conducts a variety of tests and verifications on electro and electromechanical equipment, while providing accuracy, productivity, and on-time delivery.
Job Core Responsibilities
" Performs a range of routine mechanical and/or electromechanical testing of small parts or components in accordance with company instructions and procedures
" Reviews shop traveller route card, or schematic drawings to confirm correct sequence of operation
" Perform a variety of test to verify circuitry and to test effectiveness of components in amplifiers and electronic equipment.
" Receive parts or units from customers and troubleshoots circuits and components using schematic drawings and prints as a verifying check.
" Perform test and diagnostics using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DVM, signal generators, power meters, network analysers, spectrum analysers, power meters, frequency counters and other related test equipment
" Sets up test equipment and tests per specification
" Performs troubleshooting and failure analysis of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the micro component level
" Provides detailed written failure description with root cause analysis to production and engineering
" Follows written and verbal instructions, adheres to all company guidelines, policies, and procedures
" Maintains a safe and clean work environment, an acceptable safety record and follows company safety rules
" Other responsibilities as assigned
" Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary
Job Specifications
Education: A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectations
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in related field
Years Experience: 2 years or more of relevant experience
Skills:
" Strong electrical background with understanding of microelectronics.
" Strong knowledge in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies
" Good reading and comprehension skills to understand regulations and instructions
" Ability to analyse and determine methods and procedures
" Good oral and written communication skills and attention to detail
" Proficient Microsoft Windows software applications
