About the Job
Playmore Recreational Products and Services, located in Fort Myers, FL, is the leader in the design, sales, and installation of park and recreation equipment throughout the State of Florida. Our products include commercial playground equipment, park and site amenities, shelters and pavilions, and other complimentary products. We are currently searching for a full-time Territory Sales Representative/Project Manager (PM) to join our growing team in the Jacksonville area. This will be a remote position requiring a home office. Some of our potential customers include Parks and Recreation Departments, Schools and Early Childhood, Landscape Architects, Contractors, Developers, and more.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: $65K
- At plan, Year 1: $105K, Year 2: $165K, Year 3: $225K. Additional compensation available exceeding plan

What you’ll be doing:
- Prospecting – PM is to thoroughly cover assigned territory and prospect all markets.
- Excellent Presentation Skills – Lunch and learns and other presentations to small and large groups mandatory.
- Lead/Sales Tracking – PM will follow the guidelines given out by Management. All leads and current deals are to be tracked through HubSpot. Other manufacturer databases are also to be updated on a regular basis.
- Other Sales Reports – Periodically, Sales Management will ask for other reports and special projects to be completed. These reports and tasks must be completed and returned as directed.
- Meeting Sales Quota – Overall and product specific quotas to be met.
- Site Analysis – PM will visit the location of projects when necessary to determine layout of equipment and to note site conditions.
- CRM – PM is responsible for processing all quote and design requests, as well as submitting all complete orders through HubSpot.
- Bids – PM will participate as directed on all bids. Knowledge and understanding for bid/RFP process a plus.
- Installations – PM will manage their projects in the field and work with the Installation Coordinator on all installation related matters.
- Customer Service – PM to assist with customer service as needed. This may include visiting sites and obtaining information.
What you need to succeed:
- College Education (preferred): Construction, Business, Project Management, Recreation, Landscape Architecture.
- 2 years outside sales/project management experience or equivalent.
- Background in manufacturing, construction, engineering, technical sales, relationship management or project management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and using CRM system, HubSpot preferred.
- Experience with municipal bidding processes.
- Experience estimating construction projects.
- Construction experience and knowledge of the park and playground industry a plus.
- Small business experience due to multi-tasking requirements.
- Must have or be willing to obtain Certified Playground Safety Inspector, mandated supplier certifications, and JLA Badge.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Ability to travel on a regular basis throughout territory.
