We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Temporary HR Director for a non-profit organization. This exciting role will oversee the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and lead a series of HR initiatives designed to support the organization's mission. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in HR leadership roles, policy writing, and HRIS implementation. This is a temporary position that offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the implementation of a new HRIS, ensuring the system meets the organization's needs and is effectively integrated into daily operations.
2. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with the organization's mission and values.
3. Provide strategic HR leadership, including workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations.
4. Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee benefits.
5. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop strategic HR initiatives that align with the organization's goals.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
7. Provide training and support to staff on the use of the HRIS and new HR policies.
8. Regularly review and analyze HR data to inform decision-making and strategy.
9. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR leadership roles, including policy writing.
3. Proven experience in implementing and managing HRIS.
4. Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to use HR data to inform decision-making.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
9. Experience in a non-profit organization is preferred.
10. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
