About the Job
Join Ecolab’s industry leading Healthcare team as a Temperature Management Sales Specialist. You will promote Temperature Management solutions (Core Temp irrigation fluid warming machines, service contracts, and Hush Slush Machines) along with corresponding disposable drapes in the acute care space that will help maintain critical patient normothermia and manage fluid usage for the OR into the Acute-Care market.

You will call into the operating rooms, labor and delivery, purchasing and bio-med departments among others.

What You Will Do:
Develop, implement and maintain a sales plan to achieve all targets and new business gains. Plan should include ways to grow Ecolab capital sales as well as retain and grow Ecolab disposable drape recurring revenues
Introduce solution offerings to existing and new customers through prospecting, cold calling and networking to obtain new business
Must have the ability to drive new business in both the capital and disposable drape space
Collaborate and team sell with your sales partners in your assigned area via field ride alongs, 1:1 connect calls to overview business pipeline and progress sales opportunities
Support in person all aspects of capital sales implementations
Conduct live demonstrations of our equipment, provide presentations, and support capital equipment trials as needed
Personally deliver continuing education courses to operating room nurse teams
Conduct in-hospital audits as needed to check current condition of Ecolab loaned equipment
Average overnight travel 6-8 nights per month (3 out of 4 weeks)
Manage customer base and build relationships through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
Partner with customers to implement best practices to fight hospital-acquired infections, the 4th leading cause of death in the US
Provide outstanding customer service, educate customers on ways to improve their patient outcomes and be relied upon as a temperature management subject matter expert
Apply mechanical aptitude to install/repair equipment
Demonstrate the use/application of our products in customer facilities
Be the resource to help OR departments with their day to day challenges
Develop and maintain current information regarding customers, equipment in use, market conditions, sales potentials and competition activity within assigned territory
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree
A minimum of 3 years Business to Business (B2B) capital equipment sales in a hospital setting
Excellent negotiation and communication skills
A valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (2 years)
No immigration sponsorship offered for this role
Overnight travel required
Preferred Qualifications:
3 + years of high performing sales experience (healthcare or medical sales preferred)
Demonstrated relationship management & consultative selling aptitude
Customer service skills with the ability to problem solve and devise customer solutions
Self-motivated with effective organizational/time management skills
Ability to target accounts and achieve results through an action plan
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Outlook and SFDC
