Job Description:
Telemetry and Flight Termination System (TM/FTS) Engineer to support JASSM production and development.
-Primary responsibility will be to provide TM/FTS supplier component technical oversight to support ongoing qualification and/or lot acceptance tests and production deliveries.
-Candidate will be responsible for communicating status and issues as well as recommendations to program.
-Travel to supplier, production, and/or test locations will be required on an as needed basis.
Required Experience:
- At least 4+ years of prior experience working with TM/FTS systems, RCC-319 and Test Range Safety organizations.
-4-6 years of Electronic Testing experience is required.
- 4-6 years of Mechanical Testing experience is required.
-The role includes elements of requirements, design, analysis, integration, test, reviews, and safety coordination.
-Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
-The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience to manage external suppliers with a focus on requirements verification, technical performance, and schedule.
-Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills to all management/junior levels is desired.
-Demonstrated experience presenting at program/design reviews, technical reviews, and safety reviews is desired.
Source program is missile launched from airborne military platforms.
-Candidate needs to be a self-starter and have the capability of determining one's own tasking based on input from program.
Level 4: BS+8-10 YRS or MS+6-8 YRS
