About the Job
MDCPS is seeking Business Analysts / Technical Writers to work closely with cross-functional teams including Delivery
Leads, SME’s, Data Management, IT and end-users to ensure that our case management system aligns with business
requirements and is supported by clear, accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
-Work closely with MDCPS resources to storyboard user scenarios for case management applications
-Define business outcomes for case management use cases
-Develop high quality technical documentation identifying key workflows, use cases, user stories and functional
specifications
-Publish step by step process instructions to achieve business objectives
-Define data requirements associated with clinical use cases
-Review and edit technical content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency, ensuring it aligns with system functionalities
and user needs.
-Organize and structure documentation in a way that is easy to understand and navigate.
-Produce clear, user-friendly content that is accessible to a diverse audience, including end users, system
administrators, and developers.
-Provide feedback on the CMS from a user perspective to help improve the usability of the system
Provide the minimum required skills and/or experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position. These
requirements will be transferred to the Score Sheet and candidates without these requirements reflected on their resume will
NOT be presented to the manager for consideration.
-Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
-Experience in analyzing, documenting, and implementing software solutions in a technical environment (5 Years)
-Knowledge of SQL or similar query languages is preferred. (3 Years)
-Solid understanding of databases, APIs, and integration concepts (5 Years)
-Experience with cloud technologies, SaaS solutions, and data analysis. (3 Year)
-Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail. (5 Years)
-Effective communication, organizational and time-management skills.
-Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality deliverables.
-Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Preferred/Not Required
Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory
experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
-Specific experience in case management with Child Welfare domains.
-Hosted web application testing and implementation experience within the Human Services sector (ie Social Services,
Crisis/Emergency Services)
