Title: UC/VoIP Technician
Location: National Capital Region or Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
Job Details:
- Provide live event support
- Video Conference Scheduling
- Maintain IT and AV equipment related to information displays, digital signage, monitors, laptops, video record devices and other related end user devices
- Operate and manage equipment for presentations, sound, lighting and audio/video conferencing
- Creating & managing user accounts
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for utilization of Conference Center equipment
- Escalate IT issues to Tier 3 (UC Engineering) when needed
- Provide workstation (thick and thin client), VoIP Device, and voice and video conference support, which may include:
- Manage hardware in all stages including unpacking and setup of end user devices
- Resolve IT incidents from cradle to grave, working closely with engineering teams and other JWAN Contractor Stakeholders when IT issues require Tier 3 escalation or have external dependencies
- Install application software on end user device workstations via scripted install packages
- Inventory management of UC deployed software and end user devices
- Provide user education and training in basic hardware and software functions
- Create and maintain documentation and SOPs to train new employees
- Utilization of a ServiceNow based ticketing database to track, update and close break/fix incident tickets and in fulfill new requests
- Identify and execute process improvements and other enhancements that improve operational efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience working in a DoD or Intelligence Community Environment
- Current active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph
- COVID-19: This position requires contractor personnel to attest to being fully vaccinated or, if not fully vaccinated, provide weekly testing results if located at facilities in medium and high community levels; weekly testing is not required for individuals located at facilities at low community levels; based on rates measured by the CDC, those located at facilities in counties with high community levels must always wear a mask; Masks are not required for all those located at facilities at low and medium community levels
