Job Summary:
A growing telephony technology company is seeking a Technical and Voice Support (NOC) Analyst to join its growing team. The company specializes in cutting-edge telecommunications technology and operates a Network Operations Center (NOC) that supports clients and equipment installations nationwide. This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest technology, supporting Field Technicians during installations and providing technical assistance to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical support for Field Technicians, addressing issues related to VoIP, routers, and other telecom equipment.
- Monitor, manage, and resolve tickets in the NOC environment, escalating complex issues as necessary.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and voice system issues to maintain operational compatibility.
- Deliver excellent customer service and communicate technical solutions effectively to non-technical clients.
- Contribute to the company’s knowledge base and assist in training sessions for team members.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Hands-on experience with telecom installations, NOC operations, and ticketing systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills, customer interaction abilities, and technical troubleshooting expertise.
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux environments and voice technology systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Networking, Telecommunications, Management Information Systems, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.
Work Conditions:
- Hybrid position with a mix of in-office and remote work as required.
- Rotating shifts: 8 AM – 5 PM and 11 AM – 8 PM.
- On-call duties after hours and on weekends as needed.
- Temp-to-hire opportunity, offering $18–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
