Our client is looking for both junior and senior candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in product application through visits, demonstrations, training, and phone support.
- Collaborate with customers to determine product feature requirements for marketing purposes.
- Provide technical support to resolve customer concerns, including application notes, conference papers, and demonstrations.
- Contribute to strategic planning by identifying customer service trends and suggesting improvements.
- Assist in proposal preparation and presentation for products, services, and systems.
- Serve as a secondary technical contact for customers.
- Participate in training efforts and assist with product installation, commissioning, and operation.
- Attend industry technical meetings to stay updated on advancements and trends.
- Provide input for manuals, datasheets, and ordering guides.
- Support marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements through educational opportunities and professional organizations.
- Maintain an expert level of knowledge in electric power system protection and automation.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work with high-quality results.
- Assume project management responsibilities as needed.
- Perform supervisory duties as assigned.
- Fulfill other duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- 3-5 years of experience working with relays and recorders.
- Working knowledge of electric power systems, protective relay applications, and industry practices.
- Experience with EMTP, load flow, and short circuit studies.
- Strong commitment to customer success.
- Excellent technical, speaking, and writing skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in computer and business software.
- Exceptional organization and execution skills.
- Background check and negative drug test required.
- Experience with electric power transmission, distribution, and generation systems.
- Experience in power systems protective relay and fault recorder use in transmission lines and substations.
- Knowledge of advanced communication protocols and system architecture.
- Experience leading project teams.
- Expertise in system protection, integration, and automation applications.
- Demonstrated excellence in customer service, problem-solving, and technical support.
- Proficient in electric power system protection and automation, particularly with relays and recorders.
- Effective time management skills, especially when working remotely with multiple demands.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
