About the Job
Ampsight seeks a competent and dedicated Project Manager to join our team. In this role, exceptional communication skills, experience using project management techniques, and an understanding of cybersecurity basics will allow you to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Depending on project complexity, either work solo or in tandem with a senior PM to manage the entire project lifecycle, including initiating, planning, monitoring and controlling during execution, and closing.
- Documentation: Develop charters, various types of registers, work breakdown structure diagrams, schedules, roadmaps and timelines, workflows, presentations and briefings, progress and status reports, final reports, and all project management plan components.
- Meetings: Coordinate stakeholders’ schedules, send invitations, facilitate, and take notes to ensure capture of decisions and actions and alignment of understandings.
- Risk Management: Identify and track project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Communicate: Officially and unofficially, formally and informally, internally and externally, vertically and horizontally, verbally and nonverbally, in writing and orally with customers and colleagues about various aspects of projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recent, end-to-end project management in a technical environment.
- Understanding of, and experience using, both Scrum and Waterfall.
- Must be organized and prepared, able to lead diverse groups, know how to gather project/product requirements, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Jira and MicroSoft 365.
- A bachelor’s degree and any Project Management certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of cost, budget, resources, procurements, or contracts
- How to design a hybrid project management approach
- Assemble and lead communities of practice or working groups
- Expertise in Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Teams, or Visio
- PMI-CAPM, ACP, or PMP; ISACA-CISM; SAFe Agilist; Scrum Alliance-CSM
