IDR is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join one of our top clients in Atlanta, GA or Burbank, CA. This is a 5-month contract with the potential for an extension. Due to the onsite nature of the role, candidates must be local to Atlanta, GA, or Burbank, CA.
Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager:
- Manage complex technical projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery
- Utilize project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly Agile frameworks
- Collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams
- Identify and resolve project risks and issues
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date project tracking in tools like Jira
Required Skills for Technical Project Manager:
- 5+ years of experience in technical project management
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required
- Proficiency in Jira for project tracking
- Strong technical background and familiarity with system integrations
- Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and prioritize competing demands effectively
