Technical Project Engineer

Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive project plans for manufacturing and tooling, covering all phases from design to closure.
- Act as the primary point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external clients from project start to finish.
- Define project scopes, assign resources, and set timelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Optimize product designs for manufacturability and efficiency using deep knowledge of molding processes.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to guide new project decisions.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance across project lifecycles.
- Address and troubleshoot quality issues during production, conducting regular audits and inspections.
- Maintain proactive communication with customers throughout the project, managing expectations and feedback.
- Seek out opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
- Keep updated on industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Provide leadership and mentorship within the team, fostering a culture of achievement and collaboration.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a closely related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in an engineering role/project role
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Minitab.
- Experience with CAD 3D modeling and Solidworks.
- Basic understanding of part prints and GD&T.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all organizational levels.
Preferred Skills
- Proven ability to lead without formal authority and function effectively as a team player.
- Capable of building credibility and trust among team members and external partners.
- Flexible and adaptable to rapidly changing business environments.
