JOB SUMMARY:
The Technical Sales / Strategic Account Manager identifies HVAC, Plumbing, Refrigeration and Energy Solutions service and install opportunities, builds relationships with clients and general contractors, and wins profitable business for Lima/CoolSys in our operational territory. Must demonstrate keen focus on client care and meeting the client’s expectations. This position is accountable for meeting assigned revenue and profit targets.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in the Plumbing, HVAC and Refrigeration industry is required.
- Knowledge of Commercial and Industrial Plumbing, HVAC and Refrigeration industry is required.
- Prior success selling Design-Build install projects is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years sales experience, including demonstrated success in selling install/service projects as well adding new customers to a company's portfolio.
- Ability to generate leads, develop sales strategies, and close new business.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, set and balance competing priorities.
- Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule and the work schedules of others on a short-term and long-term basis to meet objectives.
- Ability to interface across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret statistical data and/or to develop forecasts.
- Prior success selling service and maintenance agreements is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required. Experience using Salesforce.com or a similar CRM software program is preferred.
