Provide technical leadership in the planning, design and architect phases of software or hardware development.
- Provide technical expertise and direction for the development of complex hardware and software projects.
- Assist with decisions based on the highest degree of technical complexity and thorough understanding of the implications across the organization.
- Translate application and end user system requirements into technical requirements.
- Analyze and solve complex problems, making recommendations as needed, applying creative, in-depth technical and theoretical knowledge.
- Define strategies for networking, server platform, desktop services, and security required to support relevant technical environment.
- Lead orientation and planning review sessions with the local Information Technology project managers.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. - 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
- Ability to work with a cross-discipline group of architects to design, document and review solutions
- Deep technical knowledge of all core IT technologies, with strong security background, 5-8 years minimum
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Strong writing and documentation skills
- Ability to have an eye toward emerging technologies
