Summary of Essential Functions
The Technical Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the design, provisioning, maintenance, and management of enterprise IT solutions. This position is responsible for assisting users with Information Systems-related issues and ensuring the effective operation of IT services across both IT Infrastructure and Network Infrastructure.

The Technical Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the design, provisioning, maintenance, and management of enterprise IT solutions. This position is responsible for assisting users with Information Systems-related issues and ensuring the effective operation of IT services across both IT Infrastructure and Network Infrastructure.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute for education.
- Basic understanding of major operating systems, networks, and hardware components.
- Familiarity with email systems, firewalls, networks, and server management.
- Proficient in using Service Desk work order tracking and project management applications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Primarily work 8 to 5 Monday - Friday; may be asked to work additional hours as needed, including weekends.
- Take on-call rotation as assigned and be available during rotation as needs arise.
- May be expected to lift over twenty-five (25) pounds.
- Ability to distinguish between numbers and symbols.
- Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity with substantial movement of wrist and/or fingers. Walking and climbing to accomplish tasks.
- Corrected vision and hearing to normal or near normal range.
- Extended periods of sitting and/or walking depending on specific duties.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Knowledge of Local and Wide Area Networks, including hardware, switches, cables, software, and operating environments.
- Understanding of network security measures, including firewalls and VPNs.
- Ability to document network configurations and changes effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Local and Wide Area Networks, including hardware, switches, cables, software, and operating environments.
- Assist in the configuration and maintenance of network devices and infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Document network configurations and changes for future reference.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in network management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the director, manager, and/or coordinator.
