Technical Accountant - Capital Markets at Talent Shift

We are looking for an experienced Technical Accountant for our client on a project basis. This role is fully remote. 

• Develop underlying accounting rules to ensure compliance with GAAP.
• Convert existing IFRS rules and standards into US GAAP standards.
• Experience working with credit default swaps, FX swaps, repos, derivatives, and other traded products within capital markets.
• Build and provide direction on journal entries.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or other related fields 
• 10+ years of relevant accounting experience  
• Qualified applicants must reside in the continental U.S. 
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
